Other Ways to Give
As an individual, business or institution, there are a variety of effective ways to make a lasting gift of sight.

Gifts of Life Insurance
Life insurance can be a unique way to make a remarkable impact without a large upfront donation. Consulting a qualified insurance advisor that is familiar with charities is a critical part of this process. While gifts of life insurance can be very effective when used properly, it is important that the right types of life insurance are used.

RRSP/RRIF, TFSA
Make a lasting impact by naming Seva Canada as a beneficiary of your RRSP, RRIF, or TFSA. Funds get paid out directly and quickly to the named charities. The good news is you are not giving anything up now when you name Seva as beneficiary on your RRSP or RRIF. You retain full control of what you need for retirement, whatever is left after you pass goes to your loved ones and chosen charities. In Quebec, naming a charity as a beneficiary must be done through your Will.

Gifts in-kind
We occasionally accept in-kind donations of equipment, supplies, frequent flyer miles, or other assets like cars. However, these gifts can be complicated, and have long-standing implications, so each gift-in-kind must be carefully considered.
Please note, we do not accept used glasses unless they are infant or pediatric frames.
