Seva blog posting from Wanda Vivequin, fearless leader of the Nepal donor trip: We did it! Everything -- people, boxes, luggage and bright smiles -- arrived intact when we touched down into Kathmandu last night.  We were straight to our rooms at Vajra Hotel near the monkey temple for a much-needed sleep after the long flight and wait in Hong Kong.  It's a long flight from Canada, but all things considered it went very smoothly indeed. Kathmandu was completely in the dark when we arrived, as horrible power cuts have really made this a city of darkness.  There has been no rain in Kathmandu for six months and this is really causing all sorts of problems, including electricity load shedding and dusty air. We have a couple of days here in Kathmandu resting and taking in some of the sights and then whoosh to paradise... a.k.a Begnas near Pokhara.  More soon, but we are all here healthy and happy and, wonderfully too, the ERG has arrived with us.  Yipeeee!
