Tikka Maya’s Story

Share this video:

Tikka Maya was blind and deaf, until her daughter learned about a Seva eye camp near their remote village in Nepal. Through the power of sight, Seva donors changed her life, and her family’s life, forever. Women in low-income countries make up the majority of the world’s blind, not because they go blind more often than men but because they face socio-economic barriers to accessing care. Seva and its donors and partners are helping to break the barriers for women and girls to ensure that everyone has an equal right to sight! #equalright2sight
