Your gift will be triple-matched until May 31st!

You can help more Tanzanians with the gift of sight.

Helping students see is the biggest difference you can make in their lives.

Until May 31st, 2025 your gift will be triple-matched by the Honey and Barry Sherman Legacy Foundation.

Seva Canada is expanding access to eye care services in Tanzania with our regional partners.
Our expansion is made possible thanks to our partnership with the Honey & Barry Sherman Legacy Foundation, which is triple matching all donations until May 31st, 2025.

Esther awaiting her cataract surgery.

Meet Esther, a bright and determined 9-year-old from a small town near Moshi, Tanzania.

She dreams of becoming a doctor, an entrepreneur, or even an interior designer—she’s still deciding!

For as long as she can remember, the world around her has been a blur. Born with cataracts, she has never known a life where the blackboard at school was clear or where she could see her friends’ faces in sharp detail.

For children like Esther, early intervention is life-changing.

Without timely treatment, vision loss in children can cause the brain to lose its ability to process visual information, a condition that can become permanent.

Your support will help launch a brand new outreach program, creating a vital link between the doctors, nurses, and specialized equipment at the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC) hospital, and people with vision loss who would otherwise never get care due to the barriers they face.

A $50 donation turns into $200!

That can provide 40 pairs of glasses to children and adults.

Your gift today can help strengthen and expand Seva Canada’s outreach programs in Tanzania.

Don’t miss this opportunity to change even more lives!

Donations of up to $2,500 per person made by May 31st will be triple-matched until donations reach the grand total of $65,000.

Until May 31st, 2025 your gift will be triple-matched by the Honey and Barry Sherman Legacy Foundation.
