Yesterday we met this elderly woman at a free Seva eye screening camp in a remote rural area 80 km north off Siem Reap. The camp was being conducted by three Staff from the Siem Reap Eye Unit. This woman has been blind for 10 years from cataracts in both eyes but we are too late to help her. Her cataracts are too advanced for surgery, so she will remain blind for the rest of her life. When she was told that should could not have eye surgery, she was so sad and she was begging for help. Please help Seva restore sight and prevent blindness in Cambodia.
