Dr. KC and Ratana were each awarded medals from the Government of Cambodia during the inaugural ceremony for the new Banteay Meanchey Eye Unit. The Secretary of Health for Cambodia and other speakers at the two events highlighted the successful collaboration between Seva, the Fred Hollows Foundation (an eye care charity based in Australia) and the Cambodian government authorities. Seva Canada applauds the Seva Cambodian team for their immense dedication and compassion in bringing sight to the people of Cambodia.
