Counting down to Seva Canada's 30th Anniversary in April 2012, here's a few random acts of kindness and service that happened in Week 44: ONE We received a lovely note and donation of $300. The gift was from two girls in Vancouver, Julia and Emily, ages 8 and 7, who each contributed $150 from their allowance that they have been saving over the last two years. It was very important to them to help a blind child to see. Their gifts have been designated to Tanzania and will fund sight-restoring cataract surgeries for two children there. Thanks Julie and Emily for your compassion in action! TWO A dedicated group of Grade 12 students at Georges Vanier Secondary School in Toronto held an art show and auction in support of Seva Canada's sight programs. Watch this space for a full report and photos soon. THREE Our thanks to Gerry Pomeroy on Vancouver Island who organized a golf tournament for Seva on May 28th.  Again, more news and photos on the blog soon. namaste and thank you - group of children in Nepal
